Canada’s Premier High School Public Policy Conference

The Federation of Canadian Secondary Students / Fédération des élèves du secondaire au Canada (FCSS-FESC) is excited to announce the inaugural Young Policy Leaders Conference, Canada’s first public policy conference exclusively for high school students.

The event will feature guest speakers, a case study competition, engaging workshops, panel discussion, prizes and a complimentary business lunch. Tickets are free for all Canadian high school students, and attendees are eligible to receive volunteer hours.

The event was made possible by a generous contribution from the Ted Rogers Community Grant. FCSS-FESC would also like to thank Chipotle for their kind sponsorship.

  • Location: Metro Hall, 55 John Street Toronto, Ontario M5V 3C6, Rooms 308/309 (event organizers will help direct attendees from the lobby)

  • Transportation: take GO Train to Union Station or take subway to St. Andrew station and follow signs for PATH (see image below).

  • Recommended dress code is business casual

  • Metro Hall is wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators available throughout

  • Gender-neutral washrooms are available on the first floor

  • Large print digital projection will be used. Alternative formats may be requested in advance

  • Microphones and auditory amplification systems will be in use

  • Lunch will be served and attendees were invited to submit dietary restrictions when registering
